Base Salary is $70K to $80K (based upon candidate and experience)
Plus Discretionary Bonus

There are two (2) openings. One (1) full-time, permanent; and One (1) part-time for Four to Five (4-5) months for Maternity Leave Coverage.

Global Asset Management Firm looking for trade operations professional to join its growing team as a Lead Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the confirmation, instruction and settlement of derivative, mutual fund, equity, fixed income and foreign exchange trades, instruction of cash payments/receipts, and trade advice rendition. The position is prescribed within a well-established framework; however, the role holder is expected to play an active part in improving day-to-day procedures and how the work is to be tackled.

You will have a limited impact on external clients. Interactions with clients, whilst potentially frequent, will be of a routine, transactional nature. The role holders actions impact most on their own work or that of their immediate colleagues within the organization.

-Timely confirmation of derivatives, mutual fund, equity, fixed income, FX and CFD trades
-Timely issuance of settlement instructions to custodians and advices to TPAs
-Support of collateral and margin processes for open derivative contracts
-Support of derivative life-cycle events
-Interest claim resolution
-Post execution trade amendments
-Deliver accurate, timely, compliant and cost effective trade processing services
-Perform timely confirmation of derivatives, mutual fund, equity, fixed income, FX and CFD trades and timely issuance of settlement instructions
-Ensure prompt settlement of equity, fixed income and FX trades
-Perform function in line with established business controls
-Role provides administrative, transactional based support to others involved in the task of fund/portfolio management
Required Skills:
-Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
-Three to Five (3-5) years of experience within Financial Services Operations
-Must possess good interpersonal skills and/or written skills
-Ability to explain relatively involved concepts in a clear and concise manner to others within the organization
-The ability to promote a positive and professional image and being helpful and polite is essential
-Experience with the Aladdin platform preferred
-Responsible for planning own workload typically against a backdrop of changing priorities and/or external events for a day ahead
-Required to make routine judgments in situations which are well precedented and uncontentious
-Expected to seek assistance for anything complex or out of the ordinary
