Detailed Job Description:
The Analyst, Global Portfolio will be responsible for all complex data analysis in Excel and Access database management needed to support the Global Portfolio Director and Manager. Data is currently sourced from multiple databases, both internally and externally. This individual will be responsible for the integration of this data based on weekly, quarterly, and monthly reporting, as well as ad hoc analysis, needed to support the team in making strategic brand and portfolio decisions. Will support the department director and manager also in creating excel charts and graphs to be used for global brand marketing and upper management presentations. Additional administrative and ad hoc responsibilities in excel and PowerPoint, such as creating and updating department activity logs may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
Update of internal main diversion tracking file, combining sets of data from Galleria and Legacy and analyzing results.
Partner with internal and external teams to update quarterly distributor scanning report and conduct analysis on results.
Assist in analysis of grey share information and source analysis to use for PowerPoint decks for global marketing meetings.
Update global and regional source trend analysis.
Update and analyse distribution analysis conducted by test purchasing agency.
Support BPT backlog for inputting Company Legacy diversion findings into their database.
Support new projects and initiatives, such as the E-commerce grey market analysis to identity key online grey sellers.
Update broker price list analysis, as information comes from agency.
Create and manage log of test purchases with test agency.
Additional and ad hoc data synthesis and analysis as necessary.
Required Skills:
Advanced experience with excel (analysing data trends, pivot tables, formulas, sum-ifs, v-lookups, chart, graphs, etc.)
Experience with Access database management (updating and troubleshooting databases)
Experience with data synthesis (combining data from multiple sources) and complex data analysis
Keen business acumen and professional communication necessary
Overall strong data and analytics background
Ability to multi-task
Inquisitive approach and team-player attitude
Previous knowledge of skincare and/or fragrance products, brands and markets is a plus
