Large Digital Ad Agency is looking for a solid Digital Media Planner to be responsible for overseeing the activation of digital media campaigns from start to finish. Develop and execute media plans (video, social, display, email, print): 
Draft and issue RFPs 
Vet vendor proposals, lead Q&A, negotiate online media placement and pricing 
Assist Associate Media Director / Media Supervisor in presenting media plan to account and client for approval 
Create, deploy, and maintain insertion orders 
Create and maintain creative spec sheets 
Code, upload, and traffic campaigns 
Perform campaign analysis and data compilation 
Manage media budgets, client and publisher invoicing 
Develop POVs on emerging media opportunities and trends 
Research and compile competitive data 
Optimize media placements-recommend strategic and tactical changes to maximize campaign performance 
Maintain media publisher relationships and seek out new media opportunities 
Manage and train Assistant Media Planners 
Required Skills:
Minimum of three years of digital media planning experience required 
Experience drafting and issuing RFPs, leading Q&A, and negotiating with vendors 
Experience working within media and research tools, including DoubleClick DFA, comScore, Kantar, Advantage, Google Analytics, and/or Omniture 
Demonstrates leadership skills, takes initiative, is proactive and self-motivated 
Strong client service orientation 
Team player - excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required 
Strong math skills and understanding of Microsoft tools required (Excel, including pivot tables, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities a must 
Strict attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines 
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
Pharmaceutical experience a plus 
Experience using Advantage software, a plus 
Online and offline experience preferred
