Detailed Job Description:
Reporting to the VP Finance Operations, the Finance Manager Operations will partner with the VP of Supply Chain and Logistics Director to provide value-added insights into our Logistics performance (Transportation, Warehousing, and Inventory), identifying productivity opportunities, tracking productivity savings, providing financial reporting through analysis of P&L and Key Performance Indicators, driving process improvements, being part of Integrated Business Planning cycle, and leading the budgeting/forecasting process for the area.

In addition, this role will be responsible for overseeing the company's Inventory accuracy and reconciliation of Finished Goods, Ingredients, Packaging, and CHEP Pallets between our 3PLs and company systems, as well as proactively provide recommendations to mitigate aged inventory while ensuring timely execution of product disposition.

The Operations group is responsible for managing a significant portion of the cost base and working capital of the business. This is a pivotal role which will interact with many internal and external stakeholders and therefore requires strong operational and business partnership focus while at the same time having the ability to deliver effective, timely resolution of issues. This individual will manage a team and will be accountable to develop talent.

Functions and Duties:
Provide financial reporting and value-add analysis for Logistics performance including tracking and monitoring of KPI's vs target, driving process improvements, and assisting with network analytics
Partner with the Director of Logistics to coordinate and complete budgets, forecasts, and Risks & Opportunities on a timely basis
Lead the Obsolete inventory monthly process by engaging cross functional team members to proactively mitigate Aged Inventory while ensuring timely execution of product disposition
Track the execution of productivity savings initiatives, proactively escalating risks and opportunities against the productivity pipeline
Support the Integrated Business Planning process cycle
Perform month end analysis and completion of financial package including variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/Latest estimate and prior year
Ensure company's inventory is accurately reflected in the IT system on a timely manner and reconciles to third party systems by communicating and resolving discrepancies
Responsible for tracking and reconciling ingredients and packaging resulting from corporate Direct-buy strategies, while continuously looking to drive process improvements to streamline and automate
Responsible for tracking and reconciling CHEP Pallets, while continuously looking to drive process improvements to streamline and automate
Minimal travel may be required
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business or accounting
Five years' experience in finance and/or cost accounting roles
Possess the ability to work autonomously with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and business partners while at the same time being comfortable to challenge them and engage in healthy discussions
Possess relevant skills in MS Office applications - outlook, excel & word
Experience working within ERP systems
Experience in managing and developing a team

Pluses: Three years' experience in Supply Chain / Operations Finance roles with focus on business partnering Accounting designation CPA/CMA (preferred)
Have a detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control / management systems as well as expertise in tier 1 ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE)
