The ideal individual would have a mix of operational/training experience in the
Pharmaceutical or Vitamin industry.
Our candidates generally come from Pharma or Vitamin companies
Summary: Manage a regional light manufacturing, training and distribution office. The Service Center will provide light reworking of tablet compression tooling, host training seminars, act as a showroom to visitors, and provide outside services on customer equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inventory tablet press replacement parts and catalog items for immediate delivery. Host small group seminars related to tablet manufacturing such as press set-up, tablet manufacturing troubleshooting, tool management, tablet coating, etc. Maintain a showroom to display tablet presses, punch washers, tablet dedusters, and other ancillary equipment relative to solid does production Visit customers in the Long Island area to promote training and tool rework services Accept customer requests and provide quotations as necessary-work with local sales reps
Qualifications and Requirements Microsoft Great Plains experience preferred Excellent communication skills Preferred experience in the vitamin and/or pharmaceutical industry BachelorÃÂ¢??s Degree in business or a combination of education and experience will be considered 5+ yearsÃÂ¢?? in a similar role in a similar industry
