|Detailed Job Description:
Inovative Third Party Insurance Administrator is looking for a Business Analyst. We move money and data related to health & welfare benefits.
You will lead or participate in client and internal planning meetings for all assigned projects.
Gather and document system requirements (while remaining within the scope of the project) by organizing client provided information and business rules, sharing best practices and maintaining client expectations.
You will utilize technology (SQL, Excel, Access, text editors, etc) to analyze data, isolate and resolve issues and plan automated solutions.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business, benefits administration, accounting, human resource management or related field.
You should be an analytical thinker, have attention to detail, and understand payroll accounting issues and requirements. Outstanding interpersonal and oral and written communication skills are critical for success in this highly interactive role. Additionally, you must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills. The ability to work in a multi-culture environment is required.
More specifically, you should have good working knowledge of insurance benefits, policy administration and insurance principals and products. Must have good business and mathematical skills as well as the ability to understand department practices and procedures. Previous experience in Benefits Billing strongly preferred. Strong skills the use of PCs, MS Excel and Word and Access are expected.
Experience with relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle or Access
Experience with test plan creation, procedures and execution
Must have good business and mathematical skills.
Demonstrated presentation skills including preparation and execution.
Excellent written skills, verbal communication skills, customer service skills, with the ability to develop sound relationships with multiple clients.
