Detailed Job Description:
Utilize proprietary Vendor Managed Inventory program, aimed at providing wholesale customers with 360-degree service, through superior assortment, seamless automated replenishment, optimized inventory and sell-through support.

The Planning Manager is responsible for the overall service level given to customers on the program ensuring stock is procured from factory and delivered in a timely and congruous manner, consistently with agreed inventory targets. The successful candidate is determined, analytical and strongly results and business oriented.


On boarding of new customers to the platform:
oAssess customers' requirements in terms of inventory strategy & targets, planning and logistics needs
oInteracts with internal functions to project manage new launches

Manage program performance across existing customer portfolio:
oLeads routinely customer meetings as it pertains to merchandise planning and door planning to ensure high turns and efficient stock ownership
oEnsure proper calibration of sales & inventory parameters into utilized software
at door / brand level
o Manage a team of planners to accomplish the above

Operations management:
oInteract with factories and local supply chain to ensure congruous procurement of inventory to company's warehouse, with special attention to core items
oMonitor order generation (JDA system) and ensure seamless deliveries working closely with Logistics
o Elaborate reporting on customers' performance, service level and distribution and share main evidence with rest of the team so as to fine tune product offering

Additional responsibilities to be defined according to profile of selected candidate
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Informatics or Engineering; Master's degree preferred
4-5+ years of previous experience in a planning position; retail experience preferred
Superior analytical and project management skills
Excellent ability to identify inventory planning issues, assess impact on business and solve them autonomously
Knowledge of Oracle RPAS preferred
Ability to cut through complexity
Manage multiple priorities with high flexibility, maintaining strong focus on deadlines and results
Sound interpersonal and communication skills, and customer-centric attitude
