Leading insurance and financial advisory boutique seeks a Bachelors (Series 7/ Life & Health a +), 4+ years financial services sales experience including prior sales team management experience, with strong understanding of how to sell financial products and ability to recruit, train and build a highly motivated team of sales agents. You will help build, guide and develop a team of sales agents in our Manhattan, Queens or Long Island office with primary focus on ensuring your sales team is performing to the best of their ability and profitability. The successful candidate may have an existing network of sales agents who they can recruit or bring with them. This is a role with unlimited career growth potential with an established and successful firm.


÷ Build and grow the sales organization by recruiting an initial team, identifying and developing leaders, and creating high levels of engagement in the sales opportunity.
÷ Work closely with your team to prospect, recruit, and sell products to new clients by utilizing networking meetings, corporate events and social events.

The position is best suited for candidates who understand what it means to work with and motivate commission-only sales representatives. Leadership in this environment relies on an endless energy for encouraging, recognizing, and developing people, and desire for success. We are looking for leaders who have the desire to grow with the business and develop into the leader of a multi-million dollar territory.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree
- 4+ years financial services sales experience, selling insurance, financial products or financial advisory
- At least 2+ years recruiting and managing sales teams of 5-10 people or more
- Recruitment, training and people management/development experience within a sales environment
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills
- Licensed Life and Health insurance licenses required
- Series 7, 63 and/or Series 6, 63 licensed a +
